Privacy policy

Your email address and the editions you choose: Retirement Plans, Health & Welfare Plans, and the Friday Weekly Highlights. That is the information you enter on the subscribe page, and it is the whole of what we ask for.

When we send an edition, our email provider records routine delivery information: whether a message was delivered, bounced, or marked as spam. We use that to keep our list clean and our mail deliverable. We do not build profiles, and we do not ask for your name, employer, or any other detail.

We add no one without permission. After you subscribe, we send a single confirmation email; you are not on the list until you click the link inside. If you never confirm, we send nothing further and your address is discarded.

Every edition carries a one-click unsubscribe link in its footer, and email clients that support the one-click standard show an unsubscribe control of their own. Click it once and you are off the list immediately. No login, no confirmation step, no reply required. You can also write to us at the address below and we will remove you.

We do not sell, rent, trade, or lend subscriber addresses to anyone, and we do not share them for anyone else's marketing. We own our list and intend to keep it that way.

We do rely on two service providers to operate: Resend, which sends our email, and Neon, which hosts the database that stores your address and edition preferences. They process this data only to deliver BenefitsWire on our behalf. The single exception to sharing is the ordinary one: if the law compels us, we comply.

We keep your address and preferences for as long as you are subscribed. When you unsubscribe, we retain a minimal record so that we do not accidentally email you again, and otherwise remove your data.

You may change your editions or update your address at any time, and you may ask us what we hold for you or ask us to delete it. Email the address below and we will take care of it.
